Exercise sparks brown fat to burn sugar and fat, study finds
NCT ID NCT07299604
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how 6 weeks of endurance training changes brown and beige fat, which helps the body burn sugar and fat for heat. Twenty-four healthy adults were split into a training group and a control group. Researchers took blood and fat samples before and after to see how exercise affects fat-burning activity.
