Challenge to bed rest: can exercise heal new moms faster?
NCT ID NCT04345757
Summary
This study tested whether standard activity restrictions after a C-section are necessary or if a structured exercise program is better. Researchers compared 200 women who either followed the usual 6-week restrictions or did a 10-week core and breathing exercise program. The goal was to see if exercise improves physical recovery, mental wellness, and reduces complications like wound issues or incontinence.
