Can exercise and a heart procedure team up to fight a common heart failure?
NCT ID NCT06650995
Summary
This study is testing whether combining a heart procedure (ablation) with a supervised exercise program works better than the procedure alone for people with a specific type of heart failure and a recent irregular heartbeat. Researchers will measure if this combination improves how much oxygen the body can use during exercise, which is a key marker of fitness and heart health. All participants will receive the ablation, and then half will also complete a 12-week, video-supervised home exercise program.
