First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at over 3,000 people with blocked heart arteries to compare two types of drug-coated stents (tiny mesh tubes that prop open arteries). One stent uses everolimus and the other uses sirolimus. The goal was to see which one is safer and works better over time in everyday medical practice.
