First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at whether giving less oxygen to people who had a cardiac arrest outside the hospital could help them survive. The goal was to keep oxygen levels between 90-94% instead of the usual 98-100%. The trial was stopped early, but it involved 428 adults who were unconscious and on a breathing tube.
