New stent trial aims to help people walk without leg pain

NCT ID NCT04584632

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device called the EVSS, which is a small scaffold or stent, to open blocked arteries in the leg. It aims to see if the device is safe and can improve blood flow for people with leg pain or cramping caused by peripheral artery disease. The study will follow 100 participants for up to 3 years to check for complications and see how well the artery stays open.
