New heart valve fix without open surgery shows promise

Summary
This study is testing a new device called the EVOQUE system to replace a leaky tricuspid valve without open-heart surgery. The goal is to see if it is safe and works well for people with moderate to severe valve leakage who still have symptoms despite medication. About 228 participants will be followed to check for complications and how much the valve leakage improves.
