Soccer safety huddle: a Game-Changer for concussion reporting?

NCT ID NCT06864611

First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether a short pre-game safety huddle can encourage youth soccer players (ages 9-13) to report concussion symptoms. Researchers will compare teams that use the huddle to those that don't, measuring how often players say they would report symptoms and how many concussions are actually identified. The goal is to find a simple way to make soccer safer for kids.
