First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a procedure called endoscopic ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation (EUS-RFA) for people with inoperable pancreatic cancer. The goal is to see if using a heat probe to destroy tumor tissue can help patients live longer compared to standard care alone. About 108 adults with confirmed inoperable pancreatic cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either the heat probe plus standard care or standard care only.
