Massive european registry aims to unlock best treatments for deep vein disease
NCT ID NCT06906250
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
The European Venous Registry (EVeR) is collecting data from 100 patients with deep vein disease in the legs to track how different treatments work over 10 years. Researchers will measure symptoms and quality of life to find out which approaches are most effective. This is an observational study, not a test of a new drug or device.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this registry could provide clear evidence on which treatments work best for deep vein disease, helping doctors make better decisions.
What could go wrong
This is an observational registry, not a treatment trial. It collects data but does not test a new therapy, so it cannot directly improve health.
