Summary

This study created and tested a short play (ethnodrama) to change how communities view young women who take PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. Researchers worked with 63 people, including young women, their partners, friends, healthcare workers, and community leaders. Participants watched the play and gave feedback on whether the stories felt real and helpful, and whether they changed their views about PrEP.
