Summary

This study looked at how stress and race influence eating and physical activity in 258 teen girls from African-American, Hispanic, and Caucasian backgrounds. Participants attended lab sessions where they were either stressed or not, then offered a buffet to measure food choices. The goal was to understand why obesity rates differ among ethnic groups, but no treatment or cure was tested.
