Shock wave or ozone: which works better for stubborn tennis elbow?

NCT ID NCT07427368

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two treatments for people with long-lasting tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) that hasn't improved with standard care. Fifty adults will receive either shock wave therapy or an ozone injection once a week for three weeks. Researchers will measure pain, elbow function, grip strength, and tendon changes before treatment, right after, and one month later to see which approach works better.
