Hormone patches could revolutionize shoulder surgery recovery
NCT ID NCT06318403
Summary
This study is testing whether estrogen patches can help post-menopausal women heal better after rotator cuff shoulder surgery. Researchers will give 58 women either real estrogen patches or placebo patches after their surgery and compare their recovery. The goal is to see if the hormone treatment reduces pain, improves strength, and helps the tendon heal more successfully.
