Hormone flip: old drug tested as new weapon against tough breast cancers
NCT ID NCT05716516
Summary
This study is testing whether a form of estrogen (estradiol) can help control advanced breast cancer that has stopped responding to standard hormone therapies. It will enroll 36 postmenopausal women to see if the treatment works better for tumors with specific genetic changes. Patients receive the drug until their cancer worsens, aiming to slow disease progression and manage symptoms.
