Summary

This study tested whether a nutritional supplement with essential amino acids could help lung cancer patients who are losing weight build more protein in their bodies. 41 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer took part. The goal was to see if this supplement could reduce muscle breakdown and improve how the body uses protein.
