Summary
This study tests whether a specific nerve block (erector spinae plane block) can lower the amount of strong pain medicine patients need after minimally invasive lower back surgery. About 48 adults having a one-level lumbar fusion will be randomly assigned to receive the block or not. The main goal is to see if the block reduces opioid use in the first 24 hours after surgery.
