First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study follows 138 people who had surgery for esophageal cancer to see how often they experience reflux afterward. Researchers use a simple test called PEPTEST to measure stomach acid in saliva before surgery, at discharge, and 1, 3, and 6 months later. The goal is to find patterns and risk factors to help improve recovery and prevent reflux in the future.
