Race to stop suicide: single dose vs. single session in High-Stakes trial
NCT ID NCT07120477
Summary
This study aims to prevent suicide attempts by comparing two fast-acting approaches for people in crisis. It will test if a single dose of the medication esketamine or a single session to create a personalized crisis plan is better than standard emergency care alone. The trial will enroll 468 adolescents and adults in Brazil who recently attempted suicide or have severe suicidal thoughts, following them for one year.
