Ketamine plus therapy: new hope for PTSD?

NCT ID NCT06795659

Summary

This small, early-stage study explored whether combining a fast-acting ketamine nasal spray with proven trauma therapy could help people with PTSD. Four adults with PTSD received daily therapy sessions plus ketamine spray over two weeks. Researchers wanted to see if this combination was practical, acceptable to patients, and might reduce PTSD symptoms more than therapy alone.
