Summary
This study is testing whether a single low dose of esketamine can reduce symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in 552 adults aged 18-60 who also have anxiety or depression. Participants will receive the drug during a colonoscopy, and their IBS severity and quality of life will be checked 6 weeks later. The goal is to see if this approach provides meaningful symptom relief.
