Summary
This study compared two procedures for relieving pain from lumbar spinal stenosis, a common cause of back and leg pain in older adults. One group received a newer technique called erector spinae plane block, while the other got a standard caudal epidural steroid injection. Researchers measured pain, function, and walking ability in 30 adults who had not improved with other treatments. The goal is to see if the newer block works as well or better than the standard injection.
