Can viagra save sex lives after rectal cancer surgery?

Summary
This study aims to see if starting sildenafil (the drug in Viagra) early after surgery and radiation for rectal cancer can prevent long-term erectile dysfunction. It will involve 188 men who had normal sexual function before their cancer treatment. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either sildenafil or a placebo pill for 10 months to compare results.
