NCT ID NCT06938581

First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a set of recovery steps called ERAS can help people who have breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer. The goal is to control pain with fewer opioids and improve recovery. About 260 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the ERAS plan or standard care. Researchers will track opioid prescriptions, pain levels, recovery room time, and need for nausea medicine.
