Soy compound tested for quick heart health boost in women with kidney disease
NCT ID NCT06128278
Summary
This study is testing if a single dose of a supplement called equol, which comes from soy, can quickly improve blood vessel function in postmenopausal women. It aims to see if this could be a potential way to help lower the high risk of heart disease in women with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Researchers will measure changes in blood vessel health over a few hours after taking the supplement.
