Can a simple class help teens with epilepsy take their meds and feel less stigma?

NCT ID NCT06634901

Summary

This study aims to see if a special educational session for teenagers with epilepsy helps them understand their condition better. Researchers want to know if this improved knowledge leads to teens taking their medication more consistently and feeling less stigma about having epilepsy. The study will involve 60 adolescents in Uganda and will measure their knowledge, attitudes, and reported medication use before and after the educational session.
