Fish oil pills: how do they really work in your body?
NCT ID NCT04152291
Summary
This study aimed to understand how a specific fish oil ingredient (EPA) might protect the heart. Healthy volunteers took a daily EPA supplement for a month. Researchers analyzed their blood to see if EPA changed the properties of 'bad' cholesterol (LDL) and other fats, looking for clues about its health benefits.
