First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 28, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a combination of three drugs (envafolimab, albumin-bound paclitaxel, and carboplatin) given before surgery to people with a type of esophageal cancer that has spread locally but can still be removed. The goal is to see if this treatment can shrink or eliminate the tumor before surgery, improving long-term outcomes. About 26 adults with operable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma will participate in this Phase 2 trial.
