NCT ID NCT07249476
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will collect blood and bone marrow samples from 55 adults with acute leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome. Researchers want to understand how natural killer (NK) cells interact with cancer cells over time. The goal is to identify genetic markers and immune patterns that could improve future treatments.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this research could reveal how natural killer cells target leukemia cells, potentially leading to better monitoring or treatment strategies.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study that does not test a new treatment. It may not directly benefit participants and results may not lead to immediate clinical changes.
