Summary

This study tests whether thinking about positive future events can help people with alcohol use disorder choose long-term rewards over immediate drinking. About 21 participants will be split into two groups: one imagining high-intensity future events, the other low-intensity. Researchers will measure changes in decision-making, interest in treatment, and brain activity.
