Can Hands-On healing rewire the brain to ease chronic pain?

NCT ID NCT06552728

Summary

This study is testing whether a complementary therapy called 'energy healing' can help reduce pain and fatigue for people with fibromyalgia. Researchers will compare real energy healing sessions to fake ones in 25 female participants to see if the real treatment changes brain activity and improves pain scores. The main goal is to understand if this approach provides measurable relief beyond a placebo effect.
