First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a surgical procedure called endoscopic stapedotomy for people with otosclerosis, a condition that causes progressive hearing loss. Surgeons will use a tiny camera to place a small artificial device in the middle ear to improve sound transmission. The study will follow 30 patients to see how much their hearing improves and track any complications.
