Anesthesia choice may impact sexual health after gynecological procedure
NCT ID NCT07628660
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is looking at 210 women who are having a routine procedure called endometrial sampling, which helps diagnose abnormal uterine bleeding. The goal is to see if the type of anesthesia used—either sedation or local numbing—affects their sexual function one month later. Participants will fill out a questionnaire about their sexual health at a follow-up visit. The results may help doctors choose the best anesthesia for women's overall well-being.
