New drug combo trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat uterine cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called elacestrant works better alone or combined with abemaciclib for people with advanced or returning endometrial cancer that has estrogen receptors. The trial will enroll 75 participants who have already received platinum-based chemotherapy and a PD-1 inhibitor. Researchers will measure how many patients' tumors shrink significantly from the treatment.
