Smart surgery: less cutting, same cancer control?
NCT ID NCT02658565
First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a personalized surgical approach for endometrial cancer can be just as effective as standard full lymph node removal. During surgery, doctors examine the tumor tissue to decide how many lymph nodes to take out. The goal is to reduce surgery time and side effects while keeping cancer from coming back. About 400 patients are taking part to see if this tailored method works well.
