New hope for dignified final days: pump eases Parkinson's agony

NCT ID NCT07257861

Summary

This study aims to see if a small, portable pump that delivers a Parkinson's medication under the skin can improve comfort for patients in the final stages of the disease. It will test if the pump reduces severe muscle stiffness, pain, and agitation, and makes care easier for families and nurses. The goal is to provide better symptom relief and quality of life for patients receiving palliative care at home.
