Summary
This study will check if two proteins found in spinal fluid (NSE and S100B) can help predict how well children with encephalitis (brain inflammation) will recover. Researchers will follow 90 children aged 1 month to 18 years who have symptoms like confusion, seizures, or fever. The goal is to see if these proteins are better than current methods at forecasting outcomes.
