Summary
This study is testing whether blood markers for Alzheimer's disease and brain injury can help predict which older hospital patients are at higher risk of dying or being readmitted. Researchers will follow 400 hospitalized older adults with neurological issues or dementia. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors better plan care for these patients.
