Could a diabetes pill prevent heart failure after valve surgery?

Summary
This study tests whether a daily pill called enavogliflozin (a type of SGLT2 inhibitor) can reduce the risk of major heart problems or worsening heart failure in people who have already had a valve replacement (TAVR) for severe aortic stenosis and still have heart failure with preserved pumping function. About 1,040 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo, added to their usual care, and be followed for at least 12 months. The goal is to see if this medication can lower the chance of death, heart attack, stroke, or hospitalization for heart failure.
