First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to regular weight training helps trained weightlifters build more muscle, strength, and power. About 34 male athletes will be split into two groups: one does resistance training alone, the other adds EMS. Researchers will measure changes in arm and leg size, strength, and jumping ability over 8 weeks.
