Summary

This study tests a program for youth aged 10 to 13 with type 1 diabetes and their parents. The program helps families identify and build on the child's diabetes strengths to improve blood sugar control, daily management, and quality of life. About 250 participants will take part in this behavioral intervention, which involves youth, parents, and diabetes care providers.
