First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether an educational video can help adults with serious cancer understand and use palliative care, which focuses on relieving symptoms and improving quality of life. About 172 participants will be split into two groups: one gets standard care plus brochures, the other also watches a video about palliative care. Researchers will track their knowledge, attitudes, symptoms, and whether they actually use palliative care services over six months.
