Summary

This study is testing whether training cancer doctors and nurses in empathic communication skills can help reduce the feelings of stigma often experienced by lung cancer patients. Over 1,200 participants, including healthcare providers and their patients, will take part. The goal is to see if better communication leads to less patient distress and improved quality of care.
