New drug hope for rare muscle disease

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called empasiprubart against a placebo in adults with dermatomyositis, a rare disease causing muscle weakness and skin rashes. About 3 participants will receive the drug or placebo for 25 weeks, then be followed for safety over a year. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and improves symptoms.
