Can tapping away fears lead to a calmer C-Section?
NCT ID NCT05646979
Summary
This study tested whether a simple, non-invasive technique called Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) could help reduce anxiety, surgical fear, and traumatic birth perceptions in pregnant women scheduled for a planned cesarean section. The technique involves gentle tapping on specific points on the body while focusing on emotional concerns. Researchers compared outcomes between a group that received EFT and a group that did not to see if the tapping helped women feel better before their surgery.
