Summary
This study aims to understand if a patient's emotional distress at the start of treatment affects how well their first-line therapy works for metastatic breast cancer. It will observe 1,000 patients receiving standard treatments to see if their emotional state is linked to how long the treatment keeps the cancer from growing and their quality of life. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to test a new treatment.
