Summary
This study is testing a special suction dressing (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy) to see if it helps prevent wound problems after emergency abdominal surgery. Researchers will compare it against regular dressings in 720 adults. The goal is to reduce infections, wound openings, fluid buildup, and improve recovery.
