New program aims to bridge the gap from emergency room to Long-Term recovery

NCT ID NCT07024498

Summary

This study aims to test whether a new set of support strategies helps people who start medication for opioid addiction in the emergency room continue their treatment with an outpatient doctor. It will involve nearly 3,500 adults and will track if they stay on their prescribed medication over 12 months. The goal is to create a better system for connecting emergency care to ongoing support.
