First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a therapy called EMDR Toolbox to see if it can improve the emotional well-being of people with cancer. The therapy helps process difficult life experiences that may add to stress. About 46 adults with early-stage cancer will receive either standard EMDR or the EMDR Toolbox method over 15 sessions. Researchers will measure changes in psychological distress and self-compassion.
