New therapy aims to ease the hidden pain of cancer
NCT ID NCT07481890
Summary
This study is testing whether a specialized form of psychotherapy called the EMDR Toolbox Method can improve the psychological wellbeing of people diagnosed with cancer. It will compare this new method to standard EMDR therapy in 46 participants to see which is more feasible and effective at reducing distress. The goal is to help patients manage the emotional burden that often comes with a cancer diagnosis.
